I was in pain, it felt like my right eye is going to pop out. Both eyes were tearing non-stop, mucous coming out from my nose uncontrollably.. It was like soap that got into your eyes.....
The pain was violent...
My cousin sent me to hospital immediately... For the first time I felt so afraid and helpless. I couldn't open my eyes at all. They have to put anesthetic eye drop to numb my pain. When they were checking my visual acuity, my right eye can't see shit at all. Damn... they even said that my eyesight might not be perfect after I recover....
I was referred to a specialist. The anesthetic was suppose to last throughout the night, somehow when I reached home, the effect seem to have gone away and I was in pain AGAIN!....
I was sent back to Parkway East hospital again... This time round they called the specialist down. He did more checks on me and found a grain of sand trapped in my upper eyelid. Making my cornea abrasion even more damage. The good news was, he said he don't see any visual impairment on me ... My eyesight should be normal after I recover.. Even as I am typing , everything seemed blurish and my right eye is covered with padding now. I was given sleeping pill and painkillers to help me ease through the night. The sleeping pill really works... I slept through the day ......
Going for a followup tmr, hope everything will be fine..
